The Resident Mines Officer for Mirerani, George B. Kaseza, has praised the Mining Commission for its effective participation at the ongoing Geita Gold Fair 2025, taking place at the Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan Grounds in Bombambili, Geita.
During his visit to the Commission’s pavilion, Mr. Kaseza commended the level of preparation, noting that the exhibitions showcased the Commission’s commitment to creating awareness about Tanzania’s mineral sector.
He encouraged Tanzanians to take an active role in the sector, highlighting the numerous opportunities available in mineral exploration, value addition, and trade.
Mr. Kaseza emphasized that broader participation from local investors and stakeholders would strengthen the country’s economy and ensure Tanzanians benefit more from the nation’s mineral wealth.
The Geita Gold Fair 2025, which runs from September 18 to 28, has brought together stakeholders from across the mining industry to promote investment, innovation, and collaboration in Tanzania’s fast-growing mineral sector.
