Na Benny Mwaipaja, Dar es Salaam Shirika la Fedha la Kimataifa (IMF), limeidhinisha kutolewa mara moja kwa takriban dola za Marekani milioni 443.9 kwa Tanzania baada ya kukamilisha tathmini za mwisho chini ya programu za Extended Credit Facility (ECF) inayohusisha upatikanaji wa mkopo nafuu kwa ajili ya kuimarisha uchumi wa nchi kupitia sekta za uzalishaji na huduma za jamii na Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) ya kukabiliana na athari za mabadiliko ya tabianchi. Katika taarifa iliyotolewa Julai 10, IMF imesema uamuzi huo unafuatia kukamilika kwa mapitio ya sita na saba ya mpango wa ECF pamoja na mapitio ya tatu na nne ya mpango wa RSF, ambapo fedha hizo zinajumuisha takriban dola za Marekani milioni 158.75 chini ya ECF na dola za Marekani milioni 298.37 chini ya RSF.
